About the Founder

Aryan Mishra is an 18 year old Amateur Astronomer. He discovered an asteroid at the age of 14 along with his friend KeeertiVardhan and became one of the most popular amateur Astronomers in the world. His love and passion for astronomy sparked at a very young age, after he joined his school’s astronomy club. At present, he is a young 18 year old boy whose dream is to promote astronomy in the world especially in the areas with lack of education and awareness for astronomy through Spark Astronomy. Furthermore, he aims to glorify his dream not only in India but also pursuing it in other countries. He has given countless lectures on astronomy in various schools and universities and he has taught around 100,000 kids in India and been invited as a speaker, guest in various events-TEDx being the highlight of 2017.


Aryan Mishra’s diligent and meticulous work has been noticed by many famous people sharing the mutual interest that has lead Aryan to meet remarkable and influential astronauts like Astronaut Sunita Williams, Rakesh Sharma, Astronaut Don Thomas, Astronaut Samuel Durrance and the family of Late Astronaut Kalpana Chawla. He is a great inspiration for space enthusiasts and has been mentioned in THE NEW YORK TIMES with the famous Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson.


Aryan Mishra is currently living in New Delhi, who is also seen engaged in other activities than just astronomy. His hobbies include: astrophotography, beat-boxing, sports and social services. He has also achieved silver medal for “The Pramerica Spirit of Community Award 2018” and have also been nominated for International Children’s Peace Prize in 2016 recently for making a positive difference in the community through volunteer community service.
